Who We are.

Rabbit Run Farm is a ½ acre farm located on 45 acres in Worthington, MA. We are small but mighty!

We are working to produce a high volume of vegetables and flowers on a small footprint. The farm is dedicated to using regenerative farming techniques that are better for our community and the planet. By building healthy soils we are able to grow the highest quality produce and flowers year round.

We will be at the Amherst Farmers' Market on Saturdays starting in May!

I first became interested in farming after visiting a friend who was spending the summer working on an organic vegetable farm in upstate New York. I had only planned to stay for a week or two… but that quickly turned into a month. At the time, I had been working in the restaurant industry as a cook. I loved being around food, but I had no real connection to agriculture. After that month, I went home, took a few weeks to sort things out, and then headed back to finish the season. I ended up spending the next three summers on that same farm. It’s where I fell in love with working outside and growing food.

Owning a farm is something I knew I wanted early on. The idea of shaping a farm around my own vision, building something that reflects what I believe farming for the future can look like. To take everything I learned from other farms, and slowly put it together into a system that works for us. It’s a long road, and we’re still figuring a lot out as we go, but it feels good to finally be doing that work on our own piece of land.

It feels incredible knowing that all of the time we put in to improving the soil, building infrastructure and refining our systems will set us up to grow better food, more efficiently. As our first harvest is right around the corner, being able to share the positive results of all our hard work with our family and friends, new and old, is a driving force behind everything we do.
